This in-person course meets Colorado’s state requirement and includes the written permit test. Over 30 hours, students dive into interactive lessons on traffic laws, safe driving strategies, emergencies, and car basics. To pass, you’ll complete all hours and earn at least 80%—but more importantly, you’ll build the confidence to handle the road.

Our one-on-one, on-the-road lessons are taught in a 1st Choice Driving vehicle. Students practice scanning, turning, lane positioning, and space management while learning to manage risks in different traffic situations. By the end, you’ll feel comfortable driving beyond your neighborhood and ready for the challenges of real-world roads.
Online 30 Hour Program
Online 30 Hour Program
A flexible, state-approved option for busy students. Work through 10 modules at your own pace (must finish within 6 months). You’ll learn how to manage space, visibility, time, and traction in different driving situations. Complete all 30 hours with a passing score, and you’ll earn a Classroom Completion Certificate.

A minimum of 10 students is required. Dates may be adjusted based on state or health department guidelines, with the possibility of moving to virtual Zoom classes.
